James is a consultant in the Scottish Banking Team at international law firm CMS, the 6th largest law firm in the UK by revenue and 6th largest globally by headcount.
James has worked in Scotland for the last 15 years with the last decade as part of the team at CMS working from its Edinburgh and Glasgow offices. He also enjoys historic connections to Ireland including time spent studying in Dublin.

Eamon Fallon joined the Causeway Management Board in 2022. Based in Ayrshire in the west of Scotland, Eamon has over 25 years’ experience as an FCA authorised Financial Adviser and has has carved out a successful career for himself, firstly with Lloyds TSB and since 2013, with the award-winning, True Potential Wealth Management.
Finn O’Neill is currently a solicitor with CMS law firm and one of the founding members of Causeway’s Young Professionals Committee, helping grow and engage young professionals from across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland with Causeway activities.
Finn studied law at the University of Aberdeen, achieving a First Class Honours LLB (Law Degree programme), coming out top of the class, and later he undertook his Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh.
With a background in Law, Bernadette, hailing from Northern Ireland, is deeply committed to Justice, Equalities, and Human Rights and has led initiatives in community planning, community safety, and support for vulnerable populations.
A partner at BTO Solicitors LLP, specialising in IP, Technology & Data Protection, Lynn advises clients on protecting and growing their business interests and on regulatory compliance in these areas. With a background in dispute resolution and non-contentious work, Lynn’s focus is on helping her clients achieve their business goals.
Mark McKeown is an Ulster University Graduate in Civil Engineering with 25 years’ experience in the Construction Industry and in particular the Piling & Ground Engineering Sector. Mark has worked for a number of International Contractors in his career including Balfour Beatty (Scotland), Skanska (Scotland & Ireland) BAM (Ireland) and Bauer (UK & Germany).
Since 2014, Mark has been the UK & Ireland Business Development Manager for FK Lowry Piling (part of the Lagan Specialist Contracting Group). Mark travels extensively throughout Ireland, N.Ireland & Scotland working with Clients and Tier 1 Contractors at early stage scheme development for their proposed projects. Having lived and worked in Scotland, Mark is a passionate believer in the strong ties and synergies between our Islands and the advantages that can bring to Businesses operating on both sides of the Irish Sea. Mark is a Member of Engineers Ireland and lives in Co. Armagh. He is Married to Julie-Ann and they have two Children.
