Connecting Business – Growing Opportunities

Exploring the Irish Market with the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce

In 2017, UK exports to Ireland were worth £34.0 billion; imports from Ireland were £21.8 billion, resulting in a trade surplus of £12.2 billion with Ireland.

Ireland offers many opportunities in sectors such as beverage, pharmaceuticals, medical technologies, financial services and more. Ireland offers many advantages for Scottish businesses as it is geographically close and shares the same language, time zone as well as a similar culture. Ireland also benefits from a strong and flexible economic environment highly favourable for SMEs.

Join Causeway for a breakfast event with the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce at the Irish Consulate in Edinburgh where you will hear from a panel of distinguished speakers who will highlight the business opportunities in Ireland and the support available.
