Empowering Women Leaders

Mar

7

Causeway Young Professionals Committee is hosting an online networking event to celebrate the successful women - from across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland - in our network.

This follows the success of our previous IWD events which have taken place the last couple of years, with a panel of inspiring speakers describing their careers, and breakout rooms for networking. Free to attend, we welcome both members and non-members to what will be an inspiring session!

The theme of the 2023 International Women's Day is #EmbraceEquity. Many embrace equality, but a focus on gender equity needs to be part of every society's DNA.

The event will be hosted by Young Professional Megan Harkins from Forth Point, and she will be joined by Causeway Co-Chairs Brigid Whoriskey and Judith O'Leary.

Confirmed speakers:

  • Jenny Quinn, Vice-Consul General of Ireland in Scotland
  • Ciara Gilvarry, Joint Head, British Irish Council Secretariat

  • Rebecca Connor, Apprentice Civil Engineer, FK Lowry

  • Chupi Sweetman, CEO of Chupi
