Siobhan Fogarty

Siobhan Fogarty graduated from University College Dublin (UCD) with an honours degree in Law and followed that with a post graduate qualification from the Honorable Society of King’s Inns, Dublin, as a barrister.
Her early career in Scotland saw her join the professional indemnity team of a small national broker, Corporate Risk Plc , which was later acquired by Johnson and Higgins and ultimately by Global broker Marsh & McLennan Insurance Services.
Siobhan worked primarily within the Claims Division helping a broad spectrum of clients, through the protection afforded by their professional indemnity insurance policies. She continued in this specialised field for over twenty years, the last eight of which were spent between London and Edinburgh when she joined the board of the internal Managing General Agent (MGA) of Lockton companies LLP as head of compliance and claims. Here she had a particular role in advising on the reduction of risk through the maintaining of a robust internal control framework.
Siobhan joined GS Group in February 2019 and as Legal and Regulatory Director, she is responsible for all compliance matters. She is also involved in new business initiatives, particularly in the professional indemnity arena.
