Joseph McCurdy

Treasurer

Joseph is an experienced account manager with 20 years experience in Financial Services and Asset Management. He is currently a Vice President Account Manager with Pimco, a US-based Global Asset Manager, with responsibility for clients across the North of England, Scotland, Isle of Man and Ireland. Previously he has worked for Scottish-based asset management companies Standard Life Investments and Scottish Widows.  


Joseph is originally from Rathlin Island, the only inhabited island off the coast of Northern Ireland. Joseph was born and raised there, and his parents and wider family still live on the island. 


Joseph left Rathlin after attending boarding school in the Glens of Antrim (there is no secondary school on an island of 100 people) for university in Dundee, where he met his wife. They moved to Edinburgh over 20 years ago and Joseph continues to live and work from the city.
